The 3 types of Potential Clients and How to convert them into Buyers in 2019

It is well known that not all potential clients are equal 🙂 So it is wise to divide them by categories (or types) to better handle each one of them. Understanding this easy concept will help you avoid wasting your 2019 marketing budget on things that won't work.

We divided them in 3 simple categories, to help to understand the concept of warming up your potential clients and how you can reach each of this 3 categories.

The main difference between this 3 categories of potential clients is the level of awareness about their problem and the level of commitment to solve it.

So, here they are.

First there are The Cold ones.

This are people that have the potential of buying from you but they're not even aware of their problem all the more about the fact that you can solve it. That's why when you approach them with your ads with a solution to their problem they don't engage with it.

How to reach them and turn them into your customers?

To reach and convert them into real customers you first need to reach them talking to the problem they may have. Do not present your product or service as solution until they understand the problem they have. Describe your ideal cold potential customer on paper. Then create a Facebook campaign with this specific people as your audience. It usually takes a big budget to reach this type of potential customers. That's why, if you want to see results faster, we recommend investing money in the next tow categories.

The warm ones.

This people know they may be having this problem but their level of commitment to solving it is not sufficient to invest money in a solution. Yet they are valuable, because, with the right approach they can turn into buyers.  This are people who engage with your ads, but they don't convert yet. They visit your site, and may save it as a bookmark or a task for "next week". They can visit your Facebook fan page and Like it, just to get periodical reminders about you. Same with Instagram.

How to reach them and turn them into your customers?

First, it's good to reach this people. They are closer to buying then those who don't even know about the problem they have. The best way to handle them is to gather them as Followers on your Facebook Business Page (Facebook Groups are also a good option) or your Instagram Profile, and show them periodically your content.

If you gather quality people as followers on your social networks they will convert into customers. We actually presented how that it really works in this case study. This works in the long run, so don't expect to get immediate cash in your cash registers.

Finally, The Hot ones.

This are people who know they have a specific problem and are making effort to solve it. Think about that: the last time you had a problem, where was the first place you went to look for a solution? If you live in the 21st century you probably though ”Google, of course” or ”YouTube! where else?”
