Crelto: Connecting Communities with Local Service Providers

We are developing Crelto to help people find the right service provider in their community and help skilled people make their work easier to discover. Our ambition is global: a platform that can connect communities with local expertise around the world. In the first phase, we will test Crelto with communities in the Republic of Moldova, learning from the people who offer services and those who need them.

Local skills deserve to be easy to find

Every community has people who can teach, repair, build, clean or help with everyday tasks. Some run small companies. Others work independently or are just starting to turn a skill into a service. Being good at the work does not always make it easy to be found. Crelto is being built to give these providers a clear place to present what they do and connect with people nearby.

A platform for individuals and small businesses

Crelto is designed for both individual service providers and small companies. Someone does not need a large business or an established brand to describe their skills and build a professional presence. We want a tutor, an electrician, a plumber or a person offering another useful local service to have a practical way to introduce themselves to their community.

Find a tutor, tradesperson or local service provider

The platform brings different kinds of community services into one place. These include education and tutoring, cleaning, repairs, cooking, gardening, construction and welding. People can look for the kind of help they need and the area where they need it, then explore relevant providers before starting a conversation.

A service provider needs more than a name in a directory. We are building profiles where people can explain who they are, describe their experience and show the services they can offer. Profile photos and a portfolio give them space to present their work, while location information helps the community understand where they are available.

Clear service listings

Providers can describe individual services so potential customers know what is included and who the service is suitable for. The interface brings together a service title, description, location and an indicative price. This helps a specialist explain an offer clearly and gives someone looking for help a better starting point for discussing the work.

Post a request and start a conversation

Sometimes people know what needs doing but do not know whom to ask. Crelto is being developed so they can post a service request as well as search for providers. The aim is to help them find a suitable person or company for that particular need. Conversations and requests will have a shared home on the platform, making it easier to keep track of the people involved and the help being discussed.

Global ambition, first testing in Moldova

We intend Crelto to serve communities globally. The first phase will focus on communities in Moldova, where we can work closely with early users and learn how people search for services, describe their skills and respond to requests. This initial testing will help us improve the experience before extending it to more communities and countries.

We want local feedback to shape the details: which categories people need, what makes a provider profile useful and where a request becomes difficult to understand. Starting with a focused group of communities gives us a practical way to refine the platform while keeping its wider purpose in view.
