[Video] How to get more solar leads from Instagram. Tip #1.5 – Your Work Process

It is surprisingly strange how many people operate from the assumption that people actually know how to order the product or service they sell.

 

Of course, this comes from the assumption that “if it is obvious for me, it should be obvious to my customers also”. Yet they are trying to get more leads form Instagram, and are frustrated that this ”this thing doesn't work!”

 

So, one extra tip for how to get more solar leads from Instagram is to have your work process displayed as clear 3 steps process.

 

Your task: Create 3 separate Instagram posts: for STEP 1 (and describe it in a few words), STEP 2 and 3 , and do the same thing (describe this steps in a few clear words). And post them on your Instagram in the reverse order. 

 

 

Make sure you do the same on your website.

 

Here is an example of how we did it for one of our clients.  

This way you will automatically answer a bunch of question your leads may have, and this way, you will help them take the nest stept required to purchase.It is well known that when we know what to expect, it makes it easier for us to take certain decisions. So implement this idea right away and start getting more leads form Instagram for your solar business.

Profile description is important for your Instagram account.

 

Instagram is not only about photos. Some people look at your description (bio), and they see it first, before your photos. 

 

Here are a few tips on how to get more leads on Instagram using using your bio profile description. 

 

Tip #1: write your location, or the locations you operate in. Especially if you have  Instagram ads targeted for this location. 

 

Tip #2: Add a call to action together with your location. 

 

Tip #3: Don't add any other information like “hiring, relocating, etc” think about your visitors. You want to convert them into real Solar leads, so using a call to action is much more appropriate.

[Video] How to get more solar leads from Instagram. Tip #1.2 – Hashtag strategy

If you are like me, you also got frustrated when you were trying to pots your first photo with hashtags.

 

Searching for hashtags can be a tedious process. 

 

I get this. That's why we wrote this post and created this video. 

 

If you want to get more solar panel leads for your business, using Instagram can help a lot. 

 

That's why you need to learn how to use it, and this implies having a easy way to generate hashtags for your posts.  

Here is a easy way to do this:

 

First, do your research. Look for solar panel tags and write then down in a Evernote note, or notepad, or any other note taking software / app.

 

Second, try ti divide them in low and highly competitive. Low competitive hashtags are the ones that have lesser posts, and the ones that are being used less. 

 

Hint: To see how often a hashtag is being used look at the last 5 post and when they were posted. If they interval between them is something around a few days, you can be sure this is a low competitive hashtag. 

 

The opposite with highly competitive ones. If the interval between them is a few minutes.. you got the principle. Once you have this list in Evernote (or any other note taking app) group then together with 2-3 highly competitive in a group and the rest of them being low competitive. 

 

This way you will constantly be shown on most of the hashtags you've used and, at the same time, you will be trying to get on highly competitive hashtags also. 

 

As your followers grow and the more valuable and engaging content you will be creating, it will become more easy to get your post on those highly competitive hashtags. This strategy works when you are trying to get leads from Instagram.

You can't receive reviews on Instagram (as Facebook and google my business have). There is no such feature. Or if you receive a review it can only be somewhere in comments of your post, and it's not displayed for your whole audience. 

 

There is a little chance that those who follow you will see this review.So what you can do?You can post your Facebook reviews as a screenshot on Instagram. Screenshot reviews will give you the trust you need to get more solar panel leads form Instagram. 

 

Try to post periodically at least one screenshot review on Instagram. 5-7 regular posts and then a post with a review. 

 

The rule of thumb for Instagram reviews is: post screenshot reviews with a clear call to actions, instead of custom designed reviews with your texts.
